2 pack, also known as Emporite, is a chemically hardened paint product. It is made by mixing polyurethane paint with matching paint hardeners and thinners, which are sprayed in a spray booth.

It is a chemically hardened product, not baked. 2 pack is sprayed in a climate-controlled spray booth to speed up the chemical reaction between the polyurethane paint and hardener and limit dust from falling into the paintwork, ensuring optimum quality and finish.

The 2-pack paint will wear and behave like the paint on cars. If scraped with a sharp object, the painted surface will scratch and dent.

Unlike other surfaces, 2 pack is very easily repaired. For kitchen doors painted with 2-pack, the doors can be taken off, the existing colour matched, and then they can be repaired and repainted in the same finish.

There are no timeline restrictions or colour run-outs with 2-pack. Colours can always be matched, regardless of how long ago the items were originally painted.

The beauty of 2-pack paint is that there are no colour limitations. Customers can choose colours from all the major paint companies, i.e., Dulux, Resene, Haymes, Porters, Wattyl, Laminex, Polytec, Janper, and the list goes on.  

2- pack paint can also be matched to paint swatches, stone etc.  There are no colour limitations, which makes 2 pack paint such an amazing product.  Other options are metal coatings and concrete finishes.

• No orange peel in the painted finish
• Smooth and luxurious to feel and look at
• No dust, pimples, or defects on the painted surface
• No sanding swirl marks or varying gloss levels throughout panels and doors

The warranty of a 2-pack paint job is the same as it would be on cars. It provides a good-quality finish and a warranty against delamination; however, paint cannot be warrantied against wear and tear and damage caused by carelessness.

Damaged kitchen doors painted with 2 pack can always be repaired without replacing the whole kitchen. This is unlike a laminate kitchen, which needs to be replaced.
